Sculpture has already a part of culture. Great works of sculptures were found all around the world. Sculpture is one of the most popular form of art. This could be considered as one of the best representation form of human. And sculptures has a big contribution in the history.
One of the best sculptors is Mark Anastasi. He has done lots of great and artistic sculptures. Mark was born to be an artist. Born in 1961 in Sliema, being an artist runs through his blood. His previous job was a professional restorer of old farm houses and buildings. With his continued practice, Mark also learned photography. Aside from that he also enjoyed playing different musical instruments and loves to compose different music. His love for music helps a lot in his sculptures to have rhythm and harmony in it. Breeding reptiles is also one of his specializations. Finally, Mark Anastasi decided to concentrate and develop his skills in art. And he has done lots of great sculptures.
Mark was inspired by different influences. Some of his works was inspired by mosques and other Islamic architecture. He focused not on only one influence rather he is inspired by different cultures including those from ancient civilizations and South American styles like, Inca, Maya and Aztec. According to him one of his best works is the "male nude". This work according is quiet symbolic despite of it's simplicity.
Throught the internet, Mark Anastasi's works were promoted and that helped a lot to make his works quiet popular. Lots of people admired and appreciated his works. Mark Anastasi is a great artist!
